UP RERA Courses 2026: The Agent Training Certification Programme
If you are searching for UP RERA courses, there is really only one that counts: the Agent Training Certification Programme run by the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority. It is the only course that leads to agent certification, and no private coaching can substitute for it. It is not optional, it runs for four days, it costs Rs 6,000, and it ends with a written examination that you have to pass before you are certified. Who Has to Take It
UP RERA states that participation is mandatory for all real estate agents — both those already registered with the Authority and those seeking fresh registration. Renewal is not an exemption. The Authority's stated objective is to create a standardised knowledge base among agents and to ensure they operate in compliance with the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016.
What the Four Days Cover
The first three days are classroom instruction. According to UP RERA, participants receive detailed teaching on:
- Key provisions of the RERA Act
- UP RERA Rules and Regulations
- Relevant sections of the Contract Act
- Important provisions relating to stamp and registration
- The roles, duties and liabilities of real estate agents
On the fourth day participants sit a written examination. Only candidates who clear the examination are granted certification — attending the three days is not by itself enough.
Fee and How to Apply
The training fee is Rs 6,000. Applications are submitted online through the official UP RERA website. Note that this is the fee for the training programme itself and is separate from your agent registration fee — under the UP rules an individual agent pays Rs 25,000 to register and Rs 5,000 to renew, with higher figures for firms and companies. Where the Training Runs
The programme was first launched in December 2024 at Literacy House, Lucknow. Since then sessions have run regularly in Lucknow and in Greater Noida (Gautam Buddh Nagar), so that agents across the state can attend without travelling to the capital every time.
How Many Agents Have Been Through It
As of UP RERA's 24 February 2026 statement:
- 34 batches of the programme had been conducted.
- More than 2,400 candidates had registered for the course.
- 1,465 candidates had actually participated in the training.
- Results had been declared up to the 29th batch, with 1,189 candidates passing the examination.
- The certification ceremony recognised 94 agents from the 28th and 29th batches.
Those last two figures cover different sets of batches, so they cannot be divided into a clean pass rate — but the gap between 2,400 registered and 1,465 who actually turned up is worth noting if you are planning around batch availability.
The programme is running continuously — here is the actual cadence
Checked directly against UP RERA's own notices on 19 September 2026. The Authority publishes examination results batch by batch, which makes the real schedule visible:
- 46th batch — conducted 5 to 8 August 2026
- 45th batch — conducted 22 to 25 July 2026
- 44th batch — conducted 15 to 18 July 2026
- 43rd batch — conducted 8 to 11 July 2026
Two things follow from that list. Every batch spans four days, which confirms the four-day format from UP RERA's own published record rather than from a press summary. And batches run roughly every one to two weeks, so if you miss one the wait is usually short — but 46 batches in, the queue is real. UP RERA's portal also shows 7,353 registered agents in the state.

Where the official course ends and RERAExam begins
RERAExam is not a training provider and cannot enrol you. The Agent Training Certification Programme is run by UP RERA through its notified institutes, and it is the only route to certification.
