What candidates ask about the UP RERA exam.
UP RERA requires a four-day non-residential training programme, run through its notified institutes such as NIET Greater Noida and collaborating universities. The competency examination is held on the final day of the course, so the training and the exam are one process rather than two. You apply online through the UP RERA website and are allotted a batch. More than 46 batches have run so far, against roughly 7,353 registered agents in the state, so batches fill and then repeat. RERAExam does not run the training and cannot enrol you on it. What we do is the practice for the exam at the end of it.
The training fee is Rs 6,000, paid when you apply online through the UP RERA website. That is the course only. It is not the agent registration fee and it does not include it.
Agent registration is Rs 25,000 for an individual and Rs 2,50,000 for a non-individual under rule 9(2). Renewal is Rs 5,000 for an individual and Rs 50,000 for a non-individual under rule 11(2). Those are separate from the Rs 6,000 training fee, so three different payments in total. Do not budget for one and expect it to cover another.
Yes. The examination is held on the final day of the four-day programme, so there is no route to the exam that skips the training. If you are already registered with UP RERA you still have to complete it.
On the final day of whichever training batch you join, rather than on fixed public exam dates, so your date is set by your batch allotment. A completion deadline of 31 December 2026 for already-registered agents is widely reported, but it is not confirmed on up-rera.in, so check there before planning around it.
UP RERA has not published the question count, the time limit or the pass mark, and we are not going to invent numbers on its behalf. Ask your notified institute when you are allotted a batch, or check up-rera.in. Our own practice mode runs 50 questions on a 40-minute timer, which is the RERAExam format for practice rather than a statement about the real paper.
No. IBPS administered earlier phases of the MahaRERA agent exam in Maharashtra, a different state. Uttar Pradesh examines through its own notified training institutes. If you have been reading IBPS guidance for the UP exam, it was written about a different state.
