MahaRERA Exam Syllabus 2026: Topic-Wise IBPS RERA Syllabus

The MahaRERA certification exam tests whether a real estate consultant can apply the RERA Act, Maharashtra rules, portal requirements and transaction duties in practical situations. The exam is not only memory-based. Scenario questions are common.

Exam structure: 50 MCQs, 40 minutes, no negative marking, approximately 40-50% passing score, and 3 attempts before re-enrolment in the mandatory training cycle.

  1. Start with RERA Act 2016 definitions and Sections 3, 4, 9, 13, 14 and 18.
  2. Move to Maharashtra-specific rules, portal procedures and registration fees.
  3. Practise calculations: carpet area, delay interest, stamp duty, penalty and 70% account withdrawal.
  4. Take a full agent exam mock test and review every wrong answer.
  5. Revise the weakest two topics before taking the next agent exam mock test.
